Where can it be found? It can be found along Eastern US coastline and around Caribbean Islands.
Is it poisonous? Yes. However, there are no reports that the lionfish are life threating species.
Is it dangerous? Getting stung by the lionfish is a painful experience. The sting hurts as much as being stung by wasp or yellow hornet. Treatment: squeeze the blood from the penetration point. Use some winegar to wash it and apply hot and cold/ice treatment to the spot.
What does it eat? Literally, any fish and/or sea creature that it could put in its mouth.
